STEP 1: Introduction

Tell me what kind of photos you’re looking for here.

STEP 2: Investment

I’ll give you a price based on what you’re looking for.

STEP 3: Deposit

You’ll pay a deposit to hold a date/time.

STEP 4: Location Planning

This is THE most important step to great images.

You send me outfit photos and I suggest locations based on the photoshoot type and the styling of the outfits.

Trust me…I know the DMV area like the back of my hand!

STEP 5: Shoot & Post Processing

Within 1-3 days AFTER the shoot I will send you a link with all of the unedited photos so you can choose your favorites.

I will then edit your selected photos within 5-10 days after receiving your list of favorites.

Cap, Gown & Ambition: Graduation Portraiture for DC’s Next Leaders

Celebrate your academic milestone with bold, fashion-forward graduation portraits by Raya Photo Studios. Serving graduates across DC, Northern VA, and Maryland, we blend polished tradition with modern edge—because your Georgetown Law hustle and Howard U grit deserve more than a bland yearbook shot.

Our Approach

  • Campus Couture: Kate styles your session with subtle academic prestige (think: tailored blazers over gowns, campus landmark backdrops).

  • Ambition-Fueled Poses: Confident strides across UMD’s mall, cap tosses at American University’s amphitheater.

  • DC Icon Backdrops: From GW’s Foggy Bottom skyline views to Howard University’s historic arches.

Scouted Locations
We’ve mapped every photogenic corner of DC-area campuses—including secret garden nooks at Georgetown and Library of Congress grandeur for grad students.
