STEP 1: Introduction

Tell me what kind of photos you’re looking for here.

STEP 2: Investment

I’ll give you a price based on what you’re looking for.

STEP 3: Deposit

You’ll pay a deposit to hold a date/time.

STEP 4: Location Planning

This is THE most important step to great images.

You send me outfit photos and I suggest locations based on the photoshoot type and the styling of the outfits.

Trust me…I know the DMV area like the back of my hand!

STEP 5: Shoot & Post Processing

Within 1-3 days AFTER the shoot I will send you a link with all of the unedited photos so you can choose your favorites.

I will then edit your selected photos within 5-10 days after receiving your list of favorites.

Milestones with Edge: Birthday Photography for DC’s Celebrations

Turn “Happy Birthday” into bold, unforgettable art with Raya Photo Studios. Serving DC, McLean, and Alexandria, we specialize in milestone sessions that ditch cheesy props for editorial flair—think first birthday cake smashes styled like Vanity Fair spreads or 40th birthday portraits with K Street sophistication.

Our Approach

  • Themed & Fearless: We designs sessions around your vibe—whimsical balloon installations in Shaw alleys or moody cocktail-hour glam in our studio.

  • Age-Defying Energy: Whether chasing toddlers at Nationals Park or capturing your 50th in a Georgetown speakeasy, we make it iconic.

  • DC as Playground: Museum ice cream splatters, confetti explosions at Blagden Alley —we turn locations into stories.

Scouted Locations
From luxurious high-rises at Navy Yard to rooftop champagne shots overlooking the Capitol, we’ve scouted DC’s most celebration-ready spots.
